On 6^th December 1889 a group of prominent local residents met officially for the first time and our Club was formed. To think our Club was formed before the Federation of Australia and the first modern Olympics was still seven years away. It is indeed a significant milestone of 120 years, a double diamond jubilee that we celebrate the founding and history of our Club. We have distributed a flyer with full details click here.

This week there will be six days of celebrations cumulating in a luncheon on Sunday 6^th December the very day of the foundation of our Club. You are welcome to post a message on our 120th Congratulations Page

Ø  The week started on Tuesday 1^st December, Tuesday is our traditional ladies day, we will be conducting  a cake baking competition. Come along and put your best cake up for judging. For details click here for details.

Ø  Wednesday night we always have a great Trivia night and on 2^nd December there will be an elaborated Trivia game, more prizes with an emphasis on Bowls & Australia over the last 120 years. 7.30 pm a must

Ø  Thursday evening we will be holding a great game of Twilight Bowls from 5.30 pm. All are welcome, modest entry free, plenty of prizes and a sausage sizzle. Thursday 3^rd December is also the International Day of people with disabilities, we will be having a free luncheon disco conducted by the Mary McKillop foundation.

Ø  Friday night the 4^th December will be a big night. Playing live at the Club the famous Australiana Bush Band Snake Gully. It will be a great night of fun & dancing. Click here for full details. Our Bridge Club will also be having a special game of Bridge from 9.00 am, period costume compulsory they advise.

Ø  Sunday 6^th December our Foundation Day, Bowls at 9.30 am, official photo at midday, lunch at 12.45 pm followed by 120^th Championship Presentation.
