TWILIGHT BOWLS WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY During daylight saving our Club is holds twilight bowls on Wednesday & Friday evenings starting at 5.00pm. What better way to unwind after a hard day with a relaxing games of bowls on our beautiful heritage listed greens. Dress for the twilight bowls is mufti. You need to register with the Club on 97986666 before the start of the game so we can allocate you into teams. It is also a great chance for new bowlers to play with more experienced bowlers. On Friday nights there are even more reasons to stay after the game with happy hour(s) from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm when schooners are just $2.60. There is also two membership badge draws at 6 & 8. Why spend your Friday nights stuck in a noisy bar in the city when you can enjoy the great outdoors and it will not cost you a fortune.All are welcome. The Annual Carnival of Cultures conducted by Ashfield Council was held in our beautiful Park today Sunday 12th October. Our Club threw open our greens and we had a good roll up with many wanting to come back for more bowls.The Carnival was held under perfect spring weather Check out some photos of the day
A great day was had by the 18 teams in this Annual Open Fours. Conditions were hot for the morning game before a cool change bought playing conditions to a much more comfortable level. Congratulations to the winners it was a tight finish for 1st with just one shot seperating the top two teams. Keep an eye out for next years' event which is set for Sunday 27th September 2009. Every Friday night between 6 and 8pm we are raffling a number of high quality meat trays. Happy Hour is also between 6 and 8pm, where a schooner of beer from the tap will set you back a mere $2.20.
Didn't win last Friday - don't despair. Put your name on your ticket and go into our monthly 2nd chance draw. At the end of the month a side of lamb, a seafood tray or some other fabulous prizes will be on offer for the lucky Member who is in the premises, when their lucky ticket is drawn.
At only $1 for 5 numbers, and some of the cheapest beer in Sydney, why would you go anywhere else on Friday night?
Members Badge Draw
Wednesdays @ 6.30 pm and Friday @ 6 & 8 pm
Come on in on Friday night for happy hour and badge draws. Every Friday at 6pm a member's number is drawn for the chance to win the current member jackpot. Should the member not be on the premises and the prize is unclaimed, then a second draw will be made at 8pm. There is also a draw at 6.30 pm on Wednesday evenings The Badge Draw jackpots $50 per week.The last winner was member Bill McGuire who walked away with $150-00. The Jackpot is now at $50-00

Open Days
Open days are held on the last Sunday of the month starting at 9.30 am. This is an ideal opportunity for those people would like to have a try at Bowls.
