VALE RUSTY MORGAN
Most members and visitors would aware of the passing of our long standing member Milton John Morgan. Known to all of us as Rusty.
Rusty joined our Club during the period of 1965/66. He won a number of major Championships including a fours as late as 2005. With his experience as a Regional Bank Manager firstly with the old Rural Bank, then the State Bank he had tremendous input into the financial success of the Club being one of the major contributors of his own time and expertise during the sale of Corinthian Bowling Club and then securing these funds to ensure we have a financially stable Club. He continued to assist the Club being part of the Finance Sub Committee up until the time of his death.
We pass our sympathy to Jean McGie and Rusty’s family. He was very proud of his children and grand children. Rusty’s funeral will be held at St Vincents Catholic Church Ashfield at 9.30 am on Friday 19th March.
Rest In Peace Rusty.

We will also be having a store at the Carnival with plenty about our Club, and some great information about our forthcoming 120 year celebrations during the first week of December. The 2008 Carnival was held under perfect spring weather on 12th October. Check out some photos of the day
A great day was had by the 18 teams in this Annual Open Fours. Conditions were hot for the morning game before a cool change bought playing conditions to a much more comfortable level. Congratulations to the winners it was a tight finish for 1st with just one shot seperating the top two teams. Keep an eye out for next years' event which is set for Sunday 27th September 2009. Many thanks to all those who supported the day and all those who contributed to making the day a success. Full results are below
